藝術工作者李燕華多年來以時間、空間、記憶來詮釋作品，
家系列的議題是她持續將書計畫中的概念轉移到空間場域中
李燕華在「找尋：內心的家」系列中所要探討的核心，正是
「找尋：內心的家」它不僅是探索個人印記的過程，更是安
The Artist, Yen-Hua Lee, has been exploring her creativity with concepts like time, space and memory. In her "Book" series, she explores the similarities between memory and flipping through a book, and the residual memory that is left behind. Through the process of reading a book, she tries to prompt our brains to recall our own memories or search for lost ones.
In the "Home" series, she applies the "Book" concept to spaces, trying to extract new meanings. She believes that happy or painful memories are the overlapping of time and space, and these memories are an important source for the internal quest of "ourselves".
In her " Searching for: Spiritual home " series, the core concept aims to let audiences realize that all of us are just looking for ‘our home of the heart’. The physical space and the memory of the home we live in will change as time goes by and as people come and go. But we can search for our ‘internal home of the heart’ by combining memories from different space and time, and then obtain emotional satisfaction and resonance by sharing it with others.
"Searching for: Spiritual home" is not only a process of searching for personal memories, but also a powerful way to calm our unsettled mind.

藝術家簡介 Artist Biography
李燕華現居台灣創作，2002年畢業於國立台灣藝術大學
Yen-Hua Lee was born in Taiwan. In 2002 she graduated from the National Art University of Taiwan. She received a Master of Arts from the University of Dallas in 2004; and she earned the MFA in 2007 from Northern Illinois University. She has won many awards, including First Place at Studio Montclair 2008, First Place at Newark Arts Council’s Open Doors 08, First Place at West of Center Art House in Northville, Michigan; she has also been granted several art residency fellowships. Her work has been shown in Taiwan, China, Japan, Germany, Austria, Italy, United Kingdom, Argentina, Canada, Mexico and U.S.A. She has had more 20 solo shows, among them: Cooper Union school in NYC, Centro Cultural Gonzalez Gallo, Jalisco, Mexico, CYCU Art Center in Taiwan, Dallas Contemporary in U.S.A, NY Studio Gallery in NYC and The Taipei Cultural Center in New York City, Gallery Uno in Chicago, etc. She also had a group show at the Aomori Contemporary Art Centre, Japan, National Taiwan museum of Fine Arts, Taiwan，Pier-2 art Center in Kaohsiung, Taiwan Yingge Ceramic Museum in Taiwan, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts in Taiwan, Taitung Art Museum, Taiwan, China Ceramic Museum, China, the Katonah Museum in NY, U.S.A, Masur Museum of Art in LA, Westchester Biennial’08 , ’10 and ’12 in New York and ARWI International Art Fair in San Juan, Puerto Rico ’07 etc.
