「春耕──牛房徵集系列」是牛房倉庫公開招募年青藝術家的展演計劃。利用牛房自身獨有的空間環境，從慣常的展演習慣抽離，透過試驗方式，分拆牛房的展覽空間，讓一眾年青藝術家於二月至四月期間在牛房展示個人創作，並透這一系列的駐場計劃，與觀眾互動交流，產生更多與創作有關的對話和想法。

「春耕」意指趁春天雨水充沛時牽牛耕作，耕土、翻田、播種、插秧，喻意一眾藝術家春天裡在牛房努力的成果。我們為觀眾帶來一共九組藝術家的創作計劃，除了本地藝術家，也有來自香港、台灣和葡萄牙的藝術家參與。創作形式包括平面創作、攝影、裝置、雕塑、行為藝術、戲劇，並以駐場創作、導賞解說、工作坊、電影分享會等方式與觀眾分享自己的創作。

Seeds in Spring – Open Call Selection for Exhibition at Ox Warehouse is an exhibition and performance programme featuring young artists, organised through an open call. The aim is to make better use of Ox Warehouse’s unique performance and exhibition facilities, breaking away from a conventional usage. As such, from February to April 2017, in a pilot experiment, the Ox Warehouse gallery will be partitioned into distinct spaces, offering more opportunities for young creatives to showcase their art and communicate directly with visitors. The aim is to spark more exchanges and foster creativity through a series of artist-in-residence programmes.

The title Seeds in Spring evokes plowing, sowing, cultivation and rice transplanting, symbolizing that in spring, artists are working hard at Ox Warehouse for future harvests. This time, we will present creative projects by nine art groups from Macao, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Portugal, in diverse fields including photography, installation, sculpture, performance art and theatre. Artists will share their own distinctive works through artist-in-residence programmes, guided appreciations, workshops, screenings and sharings.
