澳門由一個小小的漁村，發展到今天的以旅遊娛樂為主的局面，幾百年的演變，其地域不斷的擴展延伸，澳門的海岸線，到今天依然發生著微妙的變化，從西至東，南至北，看到澳門變更的軌跡，漁船、碼頭、唐樓、高樓、娛樂場、山頭、大橋……，感受到你我生存環境的轉移。海岸線，是海濱城市的特有景觀，展現著一個城市的面貌和個性。藝術家通過對澳門海岸線的探討思考和觀察，從而以不同的角度去了解澳門的景觀與民情。
From just a tiny fishing village, Macao has developed into a dominant tourism and entertainment resort. During its development over the past several hundred years the city has steadily expanded its territory. Even today, Macao’s coastline is still constantly and subtly changing. From the city’s east to west and north to south, you can easily see the traces of Macao’s transition: fishing boats, piers, old-style Chinese and Portuguese buildings, skyscrapers, casinos, hills and bridges. All these let you feel straightaway the transformation of the living environment. The coastline is a coastal city’s unique landscape, delineating its features and and characteristics. On this basis, artists will observe, explore and reflect on Macao’s coastline so as to understand the city’s landscape and urban environment.
