牛房倉庫將於2015年12月1日（二）晚上七時正舉行「MIPAF──澳門國際行為藝術節2015」，免費入場，歡迎公眾出席參與。
「澳門國際現場行為藝術節」是牛房倉庫的重要活動之一，每年邀請國際間活躍的藝術家來澳進行交流，以個人化的展演方式，用身體作媒介實踐現場行為，對所處生存環境進行觀察和批判，去探討特有的思想觀念和藝術語境。
源於20世紀初達達主義，直到六十年代德國藝術家約瑟夫•博伊斯（Joseph Beuys）的觀念藝術（Conceptual Art），多年前隨著中國社會改革，一批中國藝術家的前衛大膽的作品以行動(Action)、身體(Body) 、偶發(Happenings) 的運作演進，體現出藝術社會的民主精神；隨著藝術節規模和形式的日益豐富，行為藝術成了國人以至國際間的聚訟焦點。
MIPAF以主題策劃的方式，讓澳門觀眾得以了解各國行為藝術的表徵與個人化表達。牛房倉庫曾邀中、港、臺，及韓國、日本、新加坡、越南、菲律賓、挪威、英國、愛爾蘭、瑞士、德國、芬蘭、法國、瑞典等國藝術家，從社會文化轉型 、身體社會學、精神分析 、世界政治生態的反思等命題，進行多向的活性探討和演出。

Warehouse will present MIPAF – Macau International Performance Art
Festival 2015 on 1 December 2015 at 7pm in Ox Warehouse. Admission is
free and open to the public.
As
one of the major annual events conducted by the Ox Warehouse, MIPAF
invites to Macau artists that are actively involved in the international art
scene, in hopes to foster the exchange of creative approaches, with a
manifestation of distinctive artistic personalities; as one would recognize,
when the artist’s body becomes the medium, by turning observations of his own
habitat into experimental interpretations and critiques, will bring forth a
specified expression that reflects our state of ideologies and contexts.
From
the intellectual movement of Dadaism in the 20th C., to the conceptual art of
Joseph Beuys’ in the 60s, the times of political reforms in China has
cultivated artists in the sector of avant-garde art, of who employed the
elements of ‘action’, ‘body’ and ‘happenings’ into evolving performances, to
articulate in the art community a theatrical expression of freedom; in recent
years, performance art festivals have ceased to generate fertile grounds for
the new and the unconventional-this particular form of art poses the power to
enthrall.
It is
the aim of MIPAF to showcase a new generation of performance artists, with
their idiosyncratic personas and disposition of creative practices. The Ox
Warehouse has by far featured prominent artists from the cross-strait four
cities, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Norway, England,
Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, Finland, France and Sweden; their performance
works have resulted in multifaceted dialogues that invoked cultural shifts,
social theories of a dynamic embodiment, psychoanalysis and political ecology.
We
are pleased to announce the Ox Warehouse will be hosting MIPAF this year, on December
1 from 7 - 10pm, where 8 artists with diverse regional backgrounds would
present with us their latest works, to stimulate our wildest fantasies, with
their deepest concerns on humanity. In addition, we would invite audiences to
join us for a spontaneous live art session, and a chance for discussion with
such artists at Coloane on November 29 from 12pm, with a promise of the
ineffable possibilities of performance art.
