我們長到什麼年紀通常會關注與自己同齡及際遇相似的人，由小孩到青少年到成年，知道將來會年老。可世界是存在很多不同的人與動物，每個人生下來就不一樣。在一個社會裡，大部份人都要由幼稚園開始升到大學，到出來社會做自己的專長工作，我們之間都有微小的不同，每人都可以發揮自己的特性。藝術，就是要表達大家的不同處。因為不同，我們都可以成為藝術家。而有智力及發育有缺陷的人，他們就是比微少不同多一點點，所以顯示出他們更有獨特性，創作力更豐富及自由。

牛房一年一度的兒童展這次以小孩的作品為主，也與澳門特殊奧運會及澳門至友協會合作，開設兒童藝術工作坊教導特殊小孩的視覺藝術，把他們潛在內的藝術氣質發揮出來，與其他小孩的作品一起展出，大家就是都與別不同。

During our lifetime, be it childhood, teenage or senior age, although we tend to mostly notice same-minded people, persons of the same generation or those who share similar events, the fact is that the world is diverse and full of uniquely different creatures. For most of us, public life trajectory goes from kindergarten to college, and later a job at something we specialized. Each of us can be good at his or her one’s own realm and become an artist simply by using art to express different views. The mentally or physical impaired people are slightly different than us, meaning they could be more special, creative and free.

In our 2015 children’s art exhibition we are cooperating with Macau Special Olympics and Best Buddies Macao Association to host a related workshop, teaching visual art to kids with special needs, helping them to fully express their inner feelings. Theirs and other kids’ artworks will show us that everybody is unique.
