2013到了紐約，一個重要文化現象的聚集地。首次的紐約之行，我到了很多展覽館參觀，回觀這次的經驗，發現我的創作經驗正和「展覽」這個平台息息相關，從而揚起「展覽」作為我創作對象的想法。我將這樣的思考總結，首次投入了創作，將MGM「光影・絢麗・水底世界」的展覽整體，當作我創作的對象，進行繪畫創作，作品以一種個人的繪畫語法，來表述這色彩奪目的特展。作品也於2013年首次參與了全藝社在MGM「紐約、紐約」的展覽中。

在該次展出後，一直希望能延伸「展覽」的議題。非常感謝牛房倉庫的支持，能有這一次個展機會：「展覽展」。在「展覽展」中，我以牛房在2014年的各項展演(覽)當作觀察思考對象，並進行創作。藉此思考展覽背後的意義所在。 --蔡國傑

In 2013 during my first visit to New York, a hub of important cultural phenomena, I visited many museums and galleries. Looking back at my experiences there, I discovered that my creative verve is closely associated with exhibitions as a platform, which prompted me to take on ‘exhibitions’ as a creative theme.I combed through my thoughts and plunged myself into the first creative effort inspired by an exhibition, namely, SHIMMERING. GRAND.AQUATIC, held at MGM Macau. I created paintings, using a typical personal vocabulary to reinterpret this colorful, enchanting, special exhibition. Thesepaintings were later showcased for the very first time in AFA’s exhibition New York, New York, also at MGM, in 2013.

After this, I always wanted to explore the theme of ‘exhibitions’. Thanks to Ox Warehouse’s support, I have the opportunity to host this Exhibition on Ox Exhibitions. As suggested by the title, my exhibition tries to observe and reflect on various exhibitions and performances organized by Ox Warehouse in 2014, to explore the significant behind exhibition.
