跟著小人兒看世界—講座
See
the World Through Children’s ﹣ Seminars

It’s a kind of parental follow-up, rather
than a merely creative activity. Parents create together and share with
children, encouraging them to observe the world and express feelings in varied
ways, while stimulating their imagination. Such follow-up is crucial in a
child’s growth. Parents should try to see and feel through their child’s eyes
and senses, witnessing and sharing this primordial landscapes.
“See the World Through Children’s Eyes” is
the perfect embodiment of this sharing and follow-up.
Chair:Dora Lou
Speakers: Cowrice, Billie Ng, Lin Hsiang Chun

The workshop will produce cloth puppets
inspired by children’s drawings!
Have you ever thought that a character in a
painting can become a lifelike cloth puppet?
We are not exactly teaching you how to make
a puppet, but rather to learn from fantastic designs created by children that
will spark your imagination and creativity!
The workshop will be conducted on a
familiar set: first the kid draws a painting, from which the parents select one
or more characters, making it/them into a puppet. Don’t worry about the
needlework. Simplicity, natural and unadorned handicraft is of the essence!
Tip: the workshop will provide some cotton,
cloth and second hand clothes, but participants can bring some waste apparel to
make the puppets. So green and handy!

Can’t we really play with food? Or will it
become more delicious after playing with?
Actually there’s some magic: Bread may look
plain and unappetizing and kids usually don’t enjoy vegetables, but if you give
them a little touch, just displaying/presenting items in a different way,
boring food may at once become appetizing. Food art does not require complicated
tools or skills, the recipe is: unleash your imagination and dining will become
a pleasure for the family!
Simple materials like bread, cheese, fruit
and peanut jam will be provided, and the instructor will demonstrate basic food
presentation skills, directing participants to create their own food artworks.
