With the ongoing hectic pace of life and enormous stress loads from work, people have eventually accustomed to a restless life style. Whether at work or leisure, people are constantly used to be bombarded with never ending text messages and to be networked to social media as if they cannot live without. For the sake of convenience, dining out and consuming processed food are easy alternatives and have become part of our daily life. Like any other consumer goods, processed food is mass-produced with lots of additives and chemicals. Gradually people lost connection with their food source, not knowing how they are grown and made. We are what we eat.
Yet most people easily neglect the essential relationship between our body and nature. When our body does not get the nutrients it needs from nature, it becomes weak and out of balance. The artist tries to bring the awareness of association between food, health, and the environment through different media and art forms.
