時事素描 – 華堅玉插畫展 IN PRESS - Published Illustrations by Rui Rasquinho 2010年5月8日星期六下午4時開幕 展期: 5月8日至6月12日2010年 這些數碼插畫作品是華堅玉在2008至2010年這兩年間受澳門本地出版機構委約創作的成果。它們雖然受預設的內容限制，包括文章的內容，需要用全民理解的方式清晰地將訊息傳達給公眾等等，但是，這些圖像的建構過程中，藝術家仍可能注入實驗手法與個人表達風格。它採用了手繪畫及其他的數碼處理媒材。展出的所有作品均曾於2008至2010年間發表或出版。 These digital illustrations are the result of two years of work commissioned by various local publishers.Bounded by a pre-existent content – a text that imposes its depiction and an universal clarity needed to communicate with the public – still, the process of building these images can bear the possibility of experimentation and individual expression.It uses handmade drawings and other material processed with digital tools.All works have been published between 2008 and 2010. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 簡歷 1971年生於葡萄牙里斯本。1987至1989年間修讀高本根基金會的動畫電影課程；1990至1995年間就讀於波爾圖大學美術學院繪畫系。八十年代末曾執導一系列動畫短片，包括CINANIMA 89（Espinho國際動畫電影節）的宣傳片。九十年代開始出版漫畫及插畫作品，並以錄像裝置作品參與多個多媒體裝置藝術的集體創作。自1997年起移居澳門從事平面設計及插畫工作，作品長期獲本地印刷媒體刊載。2009年，於仁慈堂婆仔屋舉辦個展“孫臏兵法意象繪圖展”，展出一系列插圖作品，以畫詮釋中國古代軍事家孫濱的古典軍事哲學。現時，他是一位自由插畫師，也涉獵數碼錄像和數碼攝影創作。 Bio Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1971. Attended the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (ACARTE) Animation Cinema Course between 1987 and 1989. Attended the University of Fine Arts (Painting), Porto in 1990-1995. In the late 80’s directed a series of short animation films, including the promotional film for CINANIMA 89 (Espinho International Animation Film Festival). During the 90’s, published comics and illustration and participated in several art group shows with video installation works. Since 1997 works in Macau as graphic designer and illustrator, his work has been consistently published on the local print media. In 2009 held a solo exhibition at the Albergue SCM, "Sun Pin, The Art of War", showing a series of illustrations depicting the homonymous classical chinese military philosophy text.
