牛房兒童藝術樂園周日揭幕

【本報消息】牛房倉庫將於廿六日（周日）下午四時於牛房倉庫（美副將大馬路與提督馬路交界）為“二○一二年兒童藝術樂園‘動物也是人’——大人細路創作展”進行揭幕。開幕有泥膠動畫及塗鴉牆給大人細路玩，歡迎帶動物進場參觀。創作人有來自台灣、香港及本地，而小朋友包括一些本地中文及葡文學校的小學生，創作的主題都是和動物有關。

動物單純直接，就像小朋友一樣，人類與生俱來就能與動物和平共處，隨着經濟利益及社會的發達，令到動物的生存空間越來越少，藉着愛動物的創作人（大人）與細路塗鴉的趣怪動物，讓我們重新想想生活的空間，想想人也是動物。現場部分作品將會義賣，收益會捐給澳門保護遺棄動物協會及貓空間。展期至十月八日，免費參觀，歡迎大人細路參與。活動由牛房倉庫主辦，民政總署、澳門文化局贊助，合作單位有大美藝術教育、Herbaldise、魯彌士主教幼稚園家長會。牛房倉庫開放時間為中午十二時至晚上七時，逢星期二休息。查詢電二八五三·○○二六或電郵致oxwarehouse@gmail.com，亦可瀏覽牛房網址http://oxwarehouse.blogspot.com/

現代化烏托邦是否建立在對西方概念的反復轉譯基礎之上? 翻譯的錯位如何構成原文和譯文之間的張力? 語言意義的邊界在哪裡? 這一不斷衝突的邊界能激發想像力和創造力嗎？
Is the modern idea of Utopia built on a foundation of repeated translations and reinterpretations of largely Western concepts? How does dislocated translation create deviations between the original and translated text? What defines the borders of linguistic meaning? Can these border arrangements result in continuous conflicts that on the creative side stimulate imagination and creativity?

澳門被迫的殖民歷史如何影響其今日社會建構? 這一改變與語言系統的重構有關係嗎？
In this regard, what influence has the history of Macao‘s colonial oppression had on its social structures today? How does this impact on the linguistic system's reconstruction?

黃小鵬，1960生於中國山西。1992英國倫敦大學斯萊德美術學院研究生畢業。現生活和工作在廣州。其錄影和公共裝置作品主要通過"翻譯"、“複製”和“轉換”過程中不可避免的錯位問題，來試探測意義的邊界。主要參展： “Giorgio Andreotta Calo, Jalal Toufic, 黃小鵬”, 白教堂美術館，倫敦(英國), 2011；“ 第三屆廣州三年展”，廣東美術館(中國) 2008；“十三個：今日中國影像”，紐約P.S.1當代藝術心, MOMA(美國)；第二屆廣州三年展”，廣東美術館(中國) 2005。同時撰文： “作為藝術計畫的教育”，Printed Projects11， 都柏林（第53屆威尼斯雙年展參展刊物），2009。

Huang Xiaopeng, born 1960, China. He studied for an MA at the Slade in London(1990-92). He currently lives and works in Guangzhou, China. His video and public installation works explores inevitable dislocations as a consequence of translating, copying and transforming, to test the boundaries of meaning. His exhibitions include: “Giorgio Andreotta Calo, Jalal Toufic, Huang Xiaopeng”, Whitechapel Gallery, London (UK), 20011; “The 3rd Guangzhou Triennial”, Guangdong Museum of Art, Guangzhou (China), 2008; “The Thirteen: Chinese Video Now”, P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, MOMA, New York (U.S.), 2006; “The Second Guangzhou Triennial”, Guangdong Museum Of Art, Guangzhou (China), 2005. 小時候上美術課時，都愛畫一些花花草草及小動物，筆觸自然簡單，大笨象可以飛，小狗可以駕車，線條在紙上隨意飛翔，而快樂就是那麼簡單。

動物單純直接，就像小朋友一樣，人類與生俱來就能與動物和平共處，隨著經濟利益及社會的發達，令到動物的生存空間越來越少，藉著愛動物的創作人（大人）與細路糊塗亂鴉的趣怪動物，讓我們重新想想生活的空間，想想人也是動物。

As a small kid, I loved drawing flowers and plants, as well as animals in the art class. The drawing style was natural and simple. In my world of drawing elephants could fly while puppies could drive. I freely jotted down those lines on papers, and it was just simple to be happy.

Like children, animals are pure, innocent and straightforward. Humans are born to live with animals in harmony. However, driven by economic interests, along with a society in rapid development, animals are squeezed into ever smaller spaces to survive. The funny animal doodles on display, drawn by animal-loving creative persons (grown-ups) and children, may let us reflect anew on our living spaces, introspecting that people are also animals.

La’Bridge是一個簡單的計畫，兩名成員，一名是廣州的普通家庭師奶，每日奔波於柴米油鹽和精打細算；另一名是腐女港漂，每天的生活除了上班就是寫歌和看基片……但是，一切總有些不一樣，就像生活中總是有著出乎意料之外的時候，La’Bridge是一個師奶和一個腐女對於生活和音樂的熱愛的表現方式。如果非要為她們的音樂標籤風格，可以是氛圍樂(ambient)、電子樂(electronic)和新世紀音樂(new-age music)。


目前La’Bridge已簽約內地獨立廠牌倦鳥(Weary Bird Records)，並將於2012年7月發行第二張EP[Sit Under The Chair]， La’bridge也將在2012年世界末日前盡可能前往全國各地甚至港澳臺參加演出。

La’Bridge is an ambient and electronic project which is founded by two ladies located in China. These two ladies do not live in the same city. Two cities but same story, it is a dream about music and live.


La’Bridge organized on 2011 and have joined Weary Bird Records which is a post-rock indie music label in China. They will publish their second EP named [Sit Under the Chair] on July 2012, and is planning to perform in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

Achun On The Other Side Electronic Concert

Achun On The Other Side電子音樂會

Achun是一位來自澳門的dubstep製作人，接觸音樂的初期受post-punk、shoegazing等音樂影響，現在大舉進軍dubstep。Achun善於把結他的聲浪混合在跳舞音樂中，他將通過層疊的live set轟炸聽眾，在堅固的140bpm中表現浮動、晦暗及爆炸性的電子噪音。 

Achun於今年三月廿四日在上海廠牌PAUSE:MUSIC推出唱片《On The Other Side》。 

《On The Other Side》 真實地用音樂記錄了Achun在過去的幾年內從生活中的各個方面得到的靈感，包括科幻電影、不明飛行物UFO、神秘主義以及各種陰謀論，這些稀奇古怪的東西啟發了他製作這張立足于平衡宇宙概念的另類專輯。扭曲的Dubstep和重低音Bass電音、復古老式遊戲機音樂8-bit、迷幻shoegaze風格、以及靈動的Funk和Breakbeats，所有這些多元化的音樂元素一起奠定了《On The Other Side》的獨特風格。 

Macau electronic musician Achun’s debut album, “On The Other Side”, is a documentation of his impact of various aspect within these few years. He firstly got his inspiration from science fiction movies, and then UFO, Occultism and conspiracy theory. All these inspirations were derived into this paralle universe based album. From twisted dubstep and bass, to retro 8-bit sounds and shoegaze atmosphere, as well as active funky and breakbeats, all of these are the foundation of “On The Other Side”. 


Achun於發行派對現場會表演完整的liveset。本澳的Scorpio、N1D以及法籍多媒體藝術家Chromaphase VJ將助陣演出。

Chromaphase VJ (VJ/France/Shanghai, China)

ChromaphaseVJ是來自巴黎的多媒體藝術家及平面設計師，在法國與爵士電子樂團"Wipping Willow"進行現場演出合作後，現駐於上海，進行實驗性的藝術及影像創作演出。從電影風格到純圖形，為電子音樂人設計新的影像意義及視野。這將會是Chromaphase VJ在澳門的首次演出。

SCORPIO (Live/Macau)

SCORPIO是一個項目名稱，創作範疇包括電子音樂和視覺藝術。SCORPIO由在澳門土生土長的獨立創作人雷宏於2010年創立，以製作和發表原創之音樂及視覺作品。

雷宏，澳門獨立電子音樂唱作人及視覺藝術創作人。自幼習畫的雷宏，在藝術創作上深受西方先鋒派

藝術風格的影響。中學開始接觸另類電子音樂的他，於2007至2010年期間共發表了三張電子音樂專輯。專輯從主唱、作曲、填詞、編曲、鍵盤彈奏、錄音、混音到唱片包裝美術設計、錄像製作等都由他一手包辦。

雷宏的音樂風格時而帶著哥特式的冰冷氣氛，時而又滲透著古怪的東瀛味道。在編曲上，他擅長於編曲中加上亂中有序、如撕裂般的鼓點採樣；而輕快的合成器即興演奏也是他的拿手好戲之一。歌曲題材主要圍繞心理學、社會學, 甚至是宗教等議題上。歌詞以英文為主，偶爾會因應歌曲的整體氛圍而選擇無詞哼唱。

來自澳門的N1D是港澳區Dubstep音樂界中的主要人物之一，自2008加入香港的Heavy團隊後，N1D一直成為香港Dubstep音樂活動中不可或缺的角色。把澳門最重型的低音帶到香港的地下舞池。他也是亞洲極少數的Dubstep音樂製作人之一。

藝術需要公共空間作為展演的平臺。沒有公共領域的存在，藝術就不可能成為公共話語的載體。公共空間對於言論自由的存在起著至關重要的作用，因為只有在公共空間裡才能體現出言論自由。讓藝術走出美術館和博物館，走到大街上的動議，必須與將人們從購物中心吸引過來的努力同步進行，雙管齊下，以鼓勵普羅大眾成為積極提出異議的公共論述的參與者和發聲人。

本期牛房講場，藝術家Zoran Poposki將結合他最近在公共空間開展的藝術專案，以生動例證重點論述不斷演變的城市藝術概念，探討公共藝術的基本理論。Art necessarily requires a public space. Without the existence of a public sphere there would be no art as a public discourse. Public space is key to the very possibility of existence of free speech, since one can only practice free speech in public space. The move to take art out of the galleries and museums and out in the streets, must go hand in hand with an attempt to get people out of the shopping malls and encourage them to become critical and active participants in public discourse.

In his presentation for OxTalk, artist Zoran Poposki will explore the theoretical fundamentals underpinning the evolving concept of civic art intertwined with examples of his recent art projects in the public sphere. 

Zoran Poposki是一位跨界藝術家，他居住於香港和斯科普里（馬其頓共和國）兩地，已經參與了五十多個國際展覽、放映展和藝術節。在其表演、錄影和數碼版畫作品中，他積極探索邊緣性、身份和公共空間這些主題。其公共藝術項目曾展示於紐約、史高比耶和都柏林公共場所的LED顯示屏、錄影廣告版、海報和看板。他擁有克萊姆斯多瑙大學、柏林和紐約Transart Institute學院新媒體藝術碩士學位。他曾在紐約視覺藝術學院，俄勒岡洲波特蘭太平洋西北藝術學院（Pacific Northwest College of Art）等院校做過駐校藝術家。他還獲得過紐約市CEC Artslink Fellowship獎學金，並著有一本書，內容有關公共空間的藝術實踐。Zoran Poposki is a transdisciplinary artist based in Hong Kong and Skopje, with 50 exhibitions, screenings and festivals internationally. In his performances, videos and digital prints Poposki explores issues of liminality, identity, and public space. His public art projects have been presented on LED video screens, video billboards, posters and billboards in New York, Skopje, and Dublin. He holds an MFA in New Media from Donau Universitat Krems and Transart Institute in Berlin and New York. Artist residencies include: School of Visual Arts (New York), Pacific Northwest College of Art (Portland, OR), etc. Poposki is a recipient of CEC Artslink Fellowship (NYC) and author of a book on artistic practices in public space.

本展覽集中展示九位香港藝術家的新作。藉作品藝術家們不但表露出個人的創作動機和意念，還向觀眾透露關於自己的點滴。最近香港出現一股“藝術繁榮”的虛熱，此情此景下，藝術家做的實際工作，包括作品的意念構思及實質成型，都值得我們欣賞。透過本次名為肖'Traits的展覽，策展人約翰．百德將讓每位藝術家的作品自說自話，精准地帶出他們各自獨特的個人風格和特質。


In this exhibition, nine Hong Kong artists show recent work; and, amongst their individual intentions and messages, they reveal a little about themselves. Amidst the frenzy of Hong Kong's supposed recent "art boom", the actual work that artists undertake - the thinking, conceptualization and physical realization of a project - should also be appreciated. In 'Traits, curator John Batten will briefly tease out some personal qualities within each artists' work.

自由，往往使我們產生很多的幻想和回響，也許是幻覺，似有還無的在人們的生活中遊蕩。自由行，不是現代人的專利，古代的遊吟詩人是自由行的先鋒，且比我們更懂得自由行的真正意義。近年自由行亦由正面客觀慢慢走向兩極，更與澳門結下不解之緣，悄然地改變著澳門的社會形態，人們的生活模式。自由行對當今中國是一種政策，而在不同地域有不同的理解，但他更應該是一種生活態度。

The notion of ‘freedom’ can trigger in us lots of imaginations and echoes, or maybe just illusions that seemingly haunt our daily lives. The concept of free individual travel isn’t something unique to contemporary people as the ancient troubadours were indeed pioneers who knew already very well its true meaning. In recent years, the trend of free individual travel has become widely popular, while at the same time gradually generating extremes of behavior, straying from its originally positive and subjective nature. (As a tourist destination favored by China’s Individual Visit Scheme policy) Macao SAR experiences vividly this phenomenon, as its policies have been changing local social forms and people’s lifestyle imperceptibly. In mainland China, free individual travel, or Individual Visit Scheme, is understood as a government policy. Though it is interpreted differently by each region, universally it should be more a lifestyle than a political issue.

創意陶藝手作坊－中班

李舜如(Alice Lee)早年於美國休斯頓大學學習視覺藝術及雕塑，其後回澳學習和教授陶藝，零六年開辦陶藝工作室，教授陶藝及首飾，曾多次參加本地及外地藝術展覽。牛房開辦「創意陶藝手作坊」希望讓更多對陶藝有興趣的人士參與，中班工作坊將會繼續鞏固陶藝基本技巧，再加入稍為複雜的元素啟發學員的創作思維，製作獨特的立體藝術作品。

對 象：16歲以上，已完成手揑初級或對陶藝創作有基本認識人士。

小城文化活動頻繁，眾人在奔跑於大小展場欣賞不同佳作之餘，多少也會想知道創作是怎樣一回事吧？還有，那些Artist是如何在畫室中把概念成型再延伸的？

尤其在澳門，這個地小人多講究速食文化的年代，原來身邊還有一些稀有「動物」藏身於不同的工廠大廈、或小街窄巷中堅持做著繪畫、雕塑、影像以至錄像、行為等不同範疇的創作。

定期開放創作人工作室，這個在西方已成了每年社區文化的習慣舉動，在澳門仍不多見，這次牛房倉庫找來近20位分佈在本土及離島不同社區的Artist，在五月的兩個周末分別開放他們的創作小天地，直接與大眾互動交流，這對創作人而言也是一次與眾人近距離分享個人作品的好機會，十分難得。

This small city constantly holds cultural activities. Enthusiasts who have been to many exhibitions to feast eyes on excellent artworks probably want to know what creation is all about as well as how local artists formulate their concepts and then convert them into artworks in their studios. 

Macau is a small, densely crowded city where fast pace of life is now the social norm. Who would have thought that there are still some art “freaks” hiding in factories, buildings, or shacks in narrow alleys, persistently engaging in a wide variety of artistic pursuits, such as painting, making sculptures, taking photos, and making videos?

In the Western world, it has long been an annual practice to open creatives’ studios to the public to promote community culture, a habit that is still quite rare in Macau. Ox Warehouse has invited nearly 20 artists, who live in different communities located either on the Macau Peninsula or the outlying islands, to open their little creative corners of the world to the public on two weekends during the month of May, which will offer an excellent opportunity for these artists to interact with visitors face-to-face and share their works.

走入這道文明破落之門，便看到受殖民文化遺害的菲律賓、赤貧的柬埔寨和政變頻繁的伊朗。合起來看，當是一幅亞洲傷痕地圖。
內容以紀實形式表述出菲律賓弱勢群體的生活現狀。圖像中不失作者本人發自對世情的內心描述，緩靜的影像話語中釋放著含蓄的感染力。作品於2011年獲頒"香港人權新聞圖片大獎"。

秦偉個人簡介
秦出生於香港，早年留學法國。以當代西方的藝術造型風格表現東方傳統美學思維，獲法國文化部頒發國家高等造型表現碩士文憑，並在法國建立自己的藝術工作室。
秦偉目前身職香港大學專業進修學院高級攝影課程講師，並於2011年於香港創立非謀利組織『醫護行者』向亞洲地區推展人道服務。

Chun Wai’s Profile 

Hong Kong-born Chun Wai studied art in France. While adopting contemporary Western artistic styles to present traditional Eastern aesthetic concepts, he obtained a Master’s degree, Diplôme National Supérieur d'Expression Plastique (DNSEP), from the French Ministry for Culture, and then opened an art studio in France.

Chun Wai is now a lecturer of an advanced photography course at the HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education. In 2011, he established Health in Action, a Hong Kong-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to countries in Asia.

自由，往往使我們產生很多的幻想和回嚮，也許是幻覺，似有還無的在人們的生活中遊蕩。自由行，不是現代人的專利，古代的遊吟詩人是自由行的先鋒，且比我們更懂得自由行的真正意義。近年自由行亦由正面客觀慢慢走向兩極，更與澳門結下不解之緣，悄然地改變著澳門的社會形態，人們的生活模式。自由行對當今中國是一種政策，而在不同地域有不同的理解，但他更應該是一種生活態度。

自由行可以說是人們都有的經驗生活，去到香港，或過了拱北，我們就成了自由行的身份，但當自由行成為澳門發展的一部份時，往往覺得陌生，擁擠與悠閒、寧靜與熱鬧、寬容與傲視……都似乎成了矛盾中的和諧。我們期望藝術家通過以自由行為主題進行思考及創作，展覽作品不限媒介，藝術家以不同的形式創作，以多方面表現自由行的現象和感受。

The notion of ‘freedom’ can trigger in us lots of imaginations and echoes, or maybe just illusions that seemingly haunt our daily lives. The concept of free individual travel isn’t something unique to contemporary people as the ancient troubadours were indeed pioneers who knew already very well its true meaning. In recent years, the trend of free individual travel has become widely popular, while at the same time gradually generating extremes of behavior, straying from its originally positive and subjective nature. (As a tourist destination favored by China’s Individual Visit Scheme policy) Macao SAR experiences vividly this phenomenon, as its policies have been changing local social forms and people’s lifestyle imperceptibly. In mainland China, free individual travel, or Individual Visit Scheme, is understood as a government policy. Though it is interpreted differently by each region, universally it should be more a lifestyle than a political issue.

It seems that everyone has been, one time or another, a free individual traveler. As soon as we cross the SAR boundary to Hong Kong, or pass to Gongbei, we become free individual travelers. However, when the Individual Visit Scheme and the resulting free individual travelers flocking to the city become key components of Macao’s development, we may invariably feel some uneasiness, where crowdedness and leisure, tranquility and bustling, tolerance and arrogance…are all intertwined, although it seems these contradictions have become somewhat harmonious.

Artists are invited to draw inspiration from this theme – the free individual travel phenomenon – to create artworks. Exhibition entries are medium free and artists can produce artworks in different formats to express their feelings towards this multifaceted phenomenon.

Work dimensions: Up to 2 cubic meters

Procedures: Interested parties should fill and submit the application form to Ox Warehouse prior to the submission deadline stated below.

Exhibition of artworks：Only artworks related to the theme and selected by the organizer will be exhibited.

Application submission deadline: April 15, 2012

Artwork submission and installation dates: May 11-18, 2012

Exhibition period: May 19 – July 8, 2012

1.     The organizer is responsible for the event’s publicity and promotion. Exhibition venue and assistance during installation will also be provided.
